How to become a member

  • Natural persons may become members of the Association. Legal persons may apply for the status of supporting member.
  • Currently, members of the Association include legal practitioners, i.e. advocates and legal counsel working for law firms and businesses , economists in consulting firms dealing with competition issues, as well as patent agents who also deal with competition law issues on a daily basis, and academics undertaking research in this area of law (a total of approximately 300 persons as at December 2022). That said, a diploma in law is not a prerequisite to become a member.

If you are interested in becoming a member, please:

  1. complete the membership application form (if you are a natural person)

  2. Briefly describe why you are interested in competition law (e.g., please indicate practical or academic experience in competition law) or attach a referral letter from an existing member of the Association.
  3. Once completed, please send the application form and a short letter explaining why you are interested in competition law (or a referral letter from an Association member) to Ms. Karolina Borucka (same address as above).
