We officially launched the new workshop year 2016/2017 on 28 October, 2016.

The guest of honor, Mr. Marek Niechciał, Chairperson of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), opened the meeting. The other keynote speaker was Mr. Wojciech Dorabialski, Deputy Director of Department of Competition Protection and Mr. Maciej Chmielowski from the Office of the UOKiK Chairperson. The speakers discussed the current direction of the Office’s policy regarding competition, with particular emphasis on plans to introduce new methods to detect cartels.
